Today the Admiral Inn went out for our tour not too far from the hotel itself, but just a couple streets over for a walk around the parliament grounds. We learned about the architecture and the history of the buildings in the area. It was perfect walking weather – no rain for once. Just a little cloudy with enough sun to make it a good day. It’s still a little cold though.
After our informative walk, we went into the Legislative for lunch where it was very good meals for a good price. For example: the general manager – Debra – got a meal with lamb for only $9. Their sandwiches were huge too! The sandwiches were probably large enough to feed a whole family. So if you’re interested - legislative has good food at good prices. Reasonable prices even!
Next week is our last tour. We will be going to the Maritime Museum. If you follow the blog, I bet you are wondering, “Hey! Didn’t you already go there?” – well.. we didn’t because of a snow day and that day we had Ali Baba pizza in the lobby instead. Most guests were a bit weary about going out anyways. But next Thursday – meet us in the lobby at 10:15 for a tour at the Maritime Museum. Stay tuned to our Facebook or Twitter to find out where we will be going for lunch.
