As I type, we have new carpets being laid in 1/3 of the hotel. It looks great, with our new blue bedspreads and new cream colored drapes. We also have some new sofa beds too!!! Come on down and see for yourself. You know you are always welcome

To all those people who sent me messages recently, sorry, but what came through was garbled.

So, to keep you up on what’s happening here. The rain just stopped and the sun is shinning brightly. This will certainly aid our many many many tulips planted last year, to burst into colourful bloom. We thank our long term, Housekeeper Antonia for this beautiful display. She promised us it would be spectacular, and it is. Antonia has now retired after 28 years of service, but her tulips certainly have not.

Fall 2012

Its been a busy summer and fall is looking good too. The sun is shining, the air is crisp and our guests are smiling. What more can you ask for? A Christmas Treat?? Well we have one!

This Christmas season St. Luke’s Players is putting on the ever popular Panto, ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears.’ It runs from Dec 17 to Jan 2. Ages 3 to 103 will enjoy the silly antics that our hero and Goldilocks get into. But don’t be fooled. This is no ordinary Goldilocks story. This year she and her hero, with the help of her rather interesting Aunt and cousin must save the forest from the wicked Queen Bee who plans to take over the world.
Come stay with us, and take in this years panto.

Great things happening in the city this year. Many festivals to keep the city hopping. Glad we are in the heart of it all.
The Sunday waltz of the Harbour ferries is back and the very popular Buskers Festival returns Mid July. For other activities to look forward to, check out our ‘Concise Guide to Victoria’. Link is just below the video on the bottom left of our web home page.

NEW: Some rooms have new pillow top mattress, and pillow top hide a beds. We take our claim to ‘Awake Refreshed’ seriously.

Easter breakfast with The Admiral Inn

We have had a great Spring break and busy Easter. The Easter bunny must have had a hole in his sack, because there were lots of little chocolate eggs dotting a pathway to our breakfast area. Hot cross buns were toasted and served during the peak breakfast hours. It was a happy hopping breakfast which everyone seemed to be enjoying. It was nice to see guests making friends with other guests over breakfast.

New since last summer, we now have Belgian waffles with good old Canadian maple syrup, served on weekends, Tues and Thurs. So if you are a waffle lover, plan to get up early to make sure you get some. They are popular go fast. To make it easier to join us for breakfast, we have a brand new, really discounted room rate available on line only. There is limited inventory, so book early because it is very very popular!

Its hard to believe that it is that time of year again. We are planning our Christmas holiday specials and the activities for our winter long term stay guests. No need to look for any other place to stay this winter. We are open and excited to be welcoming many of our guests back.
