Tours Around Town

So far at the Admiral Inn we’ve had three successful tours!

The first tour of 9 guests started January27th and we went to the IMAX Theater to see the film “Arabia” – a film about Arabia’s ancient history that takes you on a tour of the tombs, camel caravan rides, coral reefs and shipwrecks of the red sea, and also shows you modern day Arabia.”Arabia” was well enjoyed by all the guests, after which, we then went to  ”Samuel’s” at the Queen Victoria hotel which was very delicious by the way. Then followed by a behind the scenes look at the “Royal British Columbia Museum”.

Our second tour of 9 guests started February 3rd, where we went to the Congregation Emanuel (Canada’s Oldest Synagogue) where our tour leader kept us very interest and had us asking questions for nearly 1 1/2 hours! She also had very good knowledge of Victoria and had many funny stories to share. We then went to lunch at “The Black Olive”, a Mediterranean restaurant, where everyone enjoyed the lunch and might we recommend that the soup and sandwich deal is of very good value and delicious too?

For our most recent tour with a total of 15 guests (our biggest tour yet)! WE went to the Shaw Ocean Discovery Center in Sidney, BC which was both fun and educational where lots of our questions got answered. The tour was then followed by lunch at the Pier One Restaurant (Greek cuisine) where we had great food with great service at an excellent price which we all thoroughly enjoyed.
